- Once logged in, navigate to the dashboard.
- From the dashboard, select the "Resource " button. This is where you access your library's resources.
- Inside the Resource Manager, you'll find a list of your library's resources.
- Locate the resource you wish to manage. Each resource entry in the list has an "Actions" button associated with it.
- Click on the "Actions" button next to the resource you want to work with. A drop-down menu will appear with several options.
- Choose the appropriate action based on your needs:
- "View" to see detailed information about the resource.
- "Edit" to make modifications to the resource's details.
- "Delete" to remove the resource from your catalogue.
- Depending on your selection, follow the prompts and complete the action. For example, when editing, update the fields and click "Update" to save changes.
Managing Multiple Resources with "Bulk Actions" Button
- To manage multiple resources simultaneously, follow these steps.
- Inside the Resource Manager, identify the resources you want to work with. Use the tick boxes next to each resource entry to select one or more resources.
- Once you've made your selections, you'll notice that the "Bulk Actions" button becomes available.
- Click on the "Bulk Actions" button to reveal a drop-down menu with various options:
- "Download Report": Download an Excel file containing a list of the selected resources.
- "Create Copy": Generate copies of the selected resources.
- "Mark" and "Unmark": Mark or Unmark resources for various purposes like printing labels or temporary grouping.
- "Activate": Activate selected resources (this restores deleted resources).
- "Delete": Remove the selected resources from your catalogue.
- "Move to Library": Relocate selected resources to a different library.
- "Move to Collection": Transfer selected resources to a different collection.
- Choose the desired bulk action based on your requirements. For example, select "Download Report" to generate an Excel file with resource details.
- Follow any prompts or instructions related to the chosen bulk action. For instance, when marking resources, you may be asked to specify the reason for marking.
