Barcode Handling

Accessing Barcode Handling
- Log In: Begin by logging into your BiblioTECH account using your credentials.
- Navigate to Barcode Handling: Once logged in, navigate to the side menu. click on Setting and then click on Barcode Handling. This is where you'll access the Barcode Handling area.
Generating Barcodes
- Generate New Barcodes: In the Barcode Handling tool, you should find an option to generate new barcodes. Click on this option to proceed.
- Specify Number of Barcode Sheets: You'll need to specify the number of barcode sheets you want to generate. This depends on the number of unique barcodes you require. Enter the desired quantity in the provided field.
- Click "Generate": After entering the quantity, click on the "Generate" button. The system will process your request and create a PDF file containing the barcode labels.
Printing Barcode Labels
- Open the Generated PDF: Once the barcodes are generated, a PDF file will be created. Open this PDF file using your preferred PDF viewer.
- Print on A4 Label Sheets: Ensure you have A4 label sheets loaded in your printer. The barcode labels should be formatted to fit the label sheet.
- Print Settings: Before printing, check your printer settings to ensure they are compatible with A4 label sheets. You may need to adjust the paper size and quality settings for the best results.
- Print the Labels: Click the print button within your PDF viewer to start printing the barcode labels. Depending on your printer, you may need to select the number of copies you want to print.
- Check Printed Labels: After printing, check the labels to ensure they are clear, properly aligned, and legible. If there are any issues, you may need to adjust your printer settings and reprint.
